Ethel Rose Cutler is listed in Davenports Art Reference and Price Guide and Who's Who in American Art. Ethel is a painter and studied with Chase, Lekakis, Staffel, Kuniyoshi and Brodovitch. She was born in 1915 and is still painting today. In Davenport's her works sold for $950 to $1,350 at auction.

This is another fine painting by Ethel of colorful boats. It is framed and matted in glass and is painted in oil on board. The frame is original to the painting and has a few scratches due to its age. The frame is wood and off-white in color. A good sized, heavy framed painting. This work measures 18" x 24" (painting size, the framed painting is larger). A great investment in fine art.
